Brawl Stars Series Introduction

NOTE: This article is the first in a series dedicated to the video game, Brawl Stars.

Brawl Stars is a multiplayer online battle arena and third-person hero shooter game where players battle against other players or AI opponents in multiple game modes. Players can choose between characters called Brawlers that they have unlocked through Boxes, the Brawl Pass, the Trophy Road, or purchased through the Shop to use in battles.

Brawl Stars has a variety of different game modes that players can choose from, each one having a different objective. Players can invite friends to play with them up to the maximum team size of the game mode! In addition, it is possible to purchase Skins with Gems or Star Points, or unlock them through the Brawl Pass, which will alter the appearance, animations, and/or sounds of Brawlers.

Not all Brawlers are considered equal, but no matter the rarity, all Brawlers are special and unique in their own way!

When choosing a Brawler, checking their stats and abilities is more important than rarity, to make sure your choice is the perfect fit for the mode you're playing and the other players on your team.

There are 7 types of Brawler Rarities in the game:

Common

Rare

Super Rare

Epic

Mythic

Legendary

Chromatic

The chance to unlock Chromatic Brawlers changes over Brawl Pass seasons. The chances to obtain these Brawlers start at Legendary Rarity in the season when the Brawler is released, and change each following season, up to Epic Rarity. You can find out Chromatic Brawlers' current chance to unlock from the Brawler information screen next to Chromatic.

So far there have been 5 seasons of Brawl Stars!

Season 1: Tara's Bazaar: May 2020 – July 2020:

The Brawler Gale was introduced in this Season's Brawl Pass. The Brawl Pass had 60 tiers in this Season.

Season 2: Summer of Monsters: July 2020 – September 2020:

The Brawler Surge was introduced in this Season's Brawl Pass. This Brawl Pass added 10 extra tiers, increasing the number of tiers to 70. This Brawl Pass lasted 10 weeks, longer than the previous Brawl Pass.

Season 3: Welcome to Starr Park: September 2020 – November 2020:

The Brawler Colette was introduced in this Season's Brawl Pass. Pin Packs (which unlock three Pins per pack) were included starting in this Brawl Pass.

Season 4: Holiday Getaway: November 2020 – February 2021:
